We’re sticking with you

Today’s front page – April 17

Today we celebrate the third of our “lockdown” News editions with a pledge to continue to keep you informed and entertained, through thick and thin.

Keep an eye out for this front page.

The Cambridge and Te Awamutu News were combined by publisher David Mackenzie to ensure we could continue bringing you news and views.

It is a signal of our unwavering confidence in the value of community newspapers and the significant role they play.

We also appreciate the challenges facing our advertising family as they deal with the crippling impacts of the lockdown.

To all our readers too, as we work from home we have appreciated your support and willingness to keep approaching us with story leads and for picking up the phone when we call for a chat.

During the lockdown the News will be delivered to rural addresses as normal. In town you will find copies at your supermarket and most essential service outlets.

Electronic copies of the paper each week are uploaded and available at www.cambridgenews.nz/about/publications/ and www.teawamutunews.nz/about/publications/

Online versions of some of the stories appearing in the paper are also regularly uploaded to both www.cambridgenews.nz and www.teawamutunews.nz/
