College wins

Te Awamutu College celebrated some fine results in Waikato schools rugby last weekend.

The first XV travelled to Hamilton and beat St Paul’s Collegiate seconds 14-10 to be crowned Under-18 division 2 champions while the Under 15s beat Morrinsville 24-11 to claim third place in their competition.

The Under-14 White team beat Rototuna 41-31 and at Under-55kg level the school’s Blue team was pipped 3-0 in the final by Hamilton Boys’ High School.

The News camera was on hand to capture some of the Under-15s action.
