Babe movie

Regarding the letter from Carol Turner (The News April 3). I would like to advise that the accolade mentioned for the screenings of Babe at the Regent Theatre was misplaced. The Community Event was organised by the Assistant Manager, Linden Gomes and supported by Comvita and I feel that mention should be made of their generosity. Comvita have also organised through Linden another free event screening of the feel-good, real-life based gem, Steel Magnolias ideally placed for Mother’s Day. Such charitable presentations should be acknowledged to the correct institution.
