Sponsors acknowledged

Te Awamutu Christmas Parade 2022

Te Awamutu Rotarians hosted a thank-you for Waikato Construction Management (WCM) last month in recognition of their eight-years as principal sponsor of the Te Awamutu Rotary Christmas Parade.

The club put on the tea for the WCM (formerly Corosteel) crew.

Trina White, who runs WCM with her husband Gary White, said the company had been the parade’s main sponsor since 2017.

“It’s been such a joy to see the festive spirit that this event brings to our community year after year.  However, after starting as a main supporter of KidsCan NZ in 2025, December’s parade was our final one as the main sponsor.  It’s a little sad, but it’s time to let someone else take the reins.”

Te Awamutu Rotary Club member and parade organiser Chris Kay said the company’s commitment, generosity and enthusiasm have been the heartbeat of this event.

“Finding another sponsor whose philosophy, heart and commitment align so deeply with our community, and the Rotary Christmas Parade, will be incredibly difficult.”
