Te Awamutu College’s senior premier team.

Te Awamutu College’s senior premier netball team, pictured, capped off an impressive season with a premiere finals’ performance on Saturday.

The side won the Paperplus Te Awamutu Netball Centre premier grade final, beating Fraser Tech Te Awamutu 67-53 at ASB Stadium at Te Awamutu Events Centre. And on the heels of that success, the team is at the week-long 2023 Upper North Island Secondary Schools Tournament.

On Monday, they beat Glendowie and Tauhara 45-24 and 54-20 respectively. The event – hosted by Hamilton City Netball Centre – wraps up tomorrow, Friday.
